The Bromma SLC40T is a double side lift spreader for the simultaneous handling of two empty containers by a mast crane.

Visual contact with the stack, container corners and hooks has been optimised to allow quick positioning of the lifting head to the container. The SLC40T is equipped with side shift, telescoping and mechanical pile slope functions for convenient positioning of containers. It uses hooks and side clips to secure the container. The hooks engage the top of the bottom container and the side clips lock into the corner castings of both containers.

All spreader movements are controlled with 24V proportional valves, providing precise and smooth operation. The spreader is operated from the cab via serial communication (CANopen) or parallel wiring. Commands are processed by an electronic control unit on the spreader, with built-in safety logic for container handling.

Spreader design complies with EN13001 standard. All Bromma spreaders are made of high-quality European high-strength steel, ensuring a lightweight and robust design. The spreader has an ergonomic design and all components are easily accessible for inspection and maintenance.
